Our dedication in observing strict discipline with
regard to the two most critical areas in MT – Quality and Turnaround
time – is very strong and our focus is on improving ourselves
constantly in these areas. At Kitsoft, the importance of proper
patient care documentation is clearly understood. We recognize the
fact that a poorly transcribed medical document can be damaging,
both to the patient as well as the healthcare provider.
We
have developed our own monitoring and distribution software (ecMED),
which also has QC feedback as an important element. A transcriptions
has access to his or her file immediately after it has been edited,
reflecting exactly where mistakes, if any, occurred so that the MT
can learn from such constant and regular feedback. Reports are
generated constantly to indicate accuracy of files transcribed. We
encourage interaction amongst our MTs, conduct review sessions in
transcription as well as in medical theory and English grammar in
order to keep our MTs' morale and motivational levels high and to
keep our MTs abreast with the latest developments and changes
happening in the Medical world. At Kitsoft, each MT is encouraged to
reach the highest accuracy levels and all support and help is
provided to them so that they can reach that goal.
At
Kitsoft, transcribed documents go through a two-tiered process, with
a third level available where a recheck is necessary by a senior QA.
- Transcription – MTs with 1-5 years of actual work experience.
- QA Level I – MTs with 3-5 years of actual work experience with
various accounts and specialties.
- QA Level II – MTs with 4-5 years of actual work experience
with various accounts and specialties.
Every effort is made to see that quality is maintained
throughout the transcription and proofing process and this system
has been put in place so that every document that is uploaded to the
client can be accurate and error free, conforming to AAMT
standards.
